Pride Amsterdam Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to emancipation, social, legal and social equality and acceptance of gay men, bisexuals and lesbians, and also for those who do not want or cannot conform to socially dominant gender roles (such as masculine women, feminine men and queers) or assume a different physical gender identity throughout their lives (such as transgenders and transsexuals). To achieve this, visibility of diversity is necessary. What you see cannot be ignored.
The Almere Winterpride Foundation aims to improve acceptance of the LGBTIQ community in the broadest sense of the word. The foundation wants to help achieve this goal by organizing an annual Winter Pride in Almere.
In 2017, during pride week Pride Amsterdam started organizing Pride at the Beach. After a few years this initiative developed into the independent foundation LHBT Aan Zee. LHBT Aan Zee organizes LGBT activities, reaches out to people who feel isolated and contributes to the formulation of a good LGBT policy in Zandvoort.
Gouda Regenboog Foundation is a continuation of the Pink Saturday 2018 Gouda Foundation, which was established in 2016. In 2018 Gouda was ‘Pink City’ and in that year various activities were organized to promote LGBTI acceptance, culminating in Pink Saturday on June 23, 2018. After the Pink Year and the appointment of Gouda as a Rainbow City, there was a need for are committed to a sustainable continuation of the advocacy of lhbtiq+ persons. On 1 July 2019 this led to the continuation of the foundation under the name Gouda Regenboog Alliantie..
The Zaanse Regenboog Foundation was established to promote the visibility, acceptance and well-being of the LGBTIQ+ community in the Zaan region. The Zaanse Regenboog Foundation strives for the realization of an open culture and safe living environment for all LGBTIQ+ persons in the Zaanstreek and wants to improve the visibility, well-being, acceptance and participation of LGBTIQ+ people, as well as supporting people who experience problems dealing with and expressing their feelings and identity in Zaanstad and the surrounding area.
Equal Rights Coalition
The Equal Rights Coalition (ERC) is an intergovernmental body of 42 Member States dedicated to the protection of the rights of LGBTI persons. The ERC advances the human rights of LGBTI persons and promotes inclusive development, in both member and non-member countries, by engaging with civil society organizations, multilateral agencies, and activists from all over the world.
